​Global Care Community Centre
 
Global Care Community Centre (GC3) has been operating since 2003
as a service to the communities of Salisbury and Parafield Gardens. 

GC3 operates every Saturday night from 6:30 pm – 9:00pm* at
at Parafield Garden Recreation Centre. It is run by a group of very dedicated local volunteers
who have a heart to see the people be given every opportunity to succeed in life
​and to meet the recreational, social and spiritual needs of local people.

GC3 is a safe, fun environment to grow and socialize in with free BBQ tea, playstation,
basketball, soccer, pool tables, table tennis and much more is provided to the community for free.

In addition a computer based support program (XCEL) is offered to assist literacy levels amongst participants. Through talking to these people, at GC3 and also at the local high schools, it’s evident that there isn’t much for young people to do at night, especially if they don’t have money or a home support base.

Global Care is a ministry of Lifeforce Christian Outreach Centre, coming under the
same banner values of Honouring God and Valuing People. 
This social justice arm of the church provides mental health services to disaster
ravaged communities, crises food hampers to those experiencing food insecurity
as well as supporting other aid organizations both within Australia and overseas.
